Nice shots of this juvenile Cooper’s Hawk. This is a different juvenile. He was checking out his brother’s lunch. I was just a few meters away while watching him eat his whole lunch. He was protective of his meal, always keeping an eye on his brother (seen in the previous picture).
This bird is special. Dances and shows amazing displays. Its name is Mockingbird because it can mimic many other species like Blue Jays, Crows, Woodpeckers, Hawks, and more!
Here is one of my favorite birds of prey. The fishing skills of that bird are just amazing. Dives in the water to catch his meal and manages to fly back out all wet! Nice catch !
